About Me

I attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN majoring in business with a minor in music. In music, I worked in a recording studio until transitioning into broadcast television audio. Later, I moved into television editing and producing. I was blessed to have a career in broadcast television for over 40 years, working for and on special projects with INSP, CBS, NBC, ESPN and other production facilities. With my abilities and leadership I have worked on coverage for Monday Night Football, the Super Bowl (pre and post game), Masters Golf Tournament, US Open, Olympics (where I received an Emmy for the Athens games and was nominated for another), college bowl games (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Cotton Bowl), and the X-Games. With INSP,  I have worked on shows airing in over 150 countries including their flagship shows.  I have received numerous awards for commercials and shows that I have edited and helped produce. I have also entertained job offers from Paramount, HBO, and MGM Studios.

My experience in the communication field attests to my keen attention to detail, ability to strategize, and manage projects. All of which will be invaluable while working with Weddington residents to Preserve the Weddington Way of Life.
